FEES & INSURANCE
Clear pricing,
no surprises.
Cost shouldn't be a guessing game. Here's how I handle insurance, private pay, and evaluation fees.
Insurance
I'm in-network with several plans, billed two ways:
BCBS — billed directly through this practice
Multiple plans through the Grow Therapy network
If you're not sure whether your plan is covered, send me your insurance details on the consult call and I'll check before we start.
Immigration Evaluations
Evaluations are billed separately from ongoing therapy.
Flat fee, scope confirmed in writing before we start
2–3 week turnaround standard; expedited available
Flexible payment plans may be available
Private Pay
If you're paying out of pocket — or your plan isn't one I take — private pay is a clear option.
Flat session fee, given to you in writing before we begin
Good Faith Estimate (required by federal law)
Superbill available for out-of-network reimbursement
Sliding Scale & Access
I keep a small number of reduced-fee slots when possible, and I'd rather know you need one than have you not ask. Mention it on the consult.
About the Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges for medical or mental health services if you are uninsured or paying out of pocket. I'll provide one in writing before we begin.
If your final bill is at least $400 more than your estimate, you may have the right to dispute it. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
Questions about cost?
Ask on the free consult. I'd rather walk you through the numbers up front than have you guess.
